Establishing Authentic Emotional Contact
The Relationship Development Intervention Program (RDI ®) is a parent-based treatment program for autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and individuals with relational issues. RDI focuses on cultivating the building blocks of social connection in the child-parent relationship. The workshop will focus on theoretical and practical aspects of how to equip parents with the skills for a better experience in their day to day life with their child by learning how to be a better guide. By focusing on the guiding principle parents can build a meaningful relationship with their child.

BIMAL RAI
Educational Psychologist and RDI® Program Certified Consultant
Bimal has over 15 years of experience working with a wide range of children with special needs, including Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Developmental Delay. In 2007 Bimal became one of the first RDI® Program Certified Consultants in this region. RDI® goes beyond a therapist giving the child therapy or treatment. Over time the Consultant gradually transfers their abilities to parents so that they are empowered with information and strategies to manage their child’s autism. |
