Dr. Johnson Hsieh

Dr. Johnson Hsieh (Tsung‑Shun Hsieh) is an academic leader with extensive cross‑border experience in higher education across Singapore, Thailand, and Taiwan. He currently serves as Associate Research Fellow and Director of the Thailand Education Center at Tunghai University, where he leads Taiwan–Thailand academic collaboration and develops transnational education (TNE) initiatives. His previous roles include Associate Dean at Assumption University of Thailand, where he expanded international enrolment from 200 to 700 students and built new Counselling Psychology postgraduate programmes, as well as Deputy General Manager at Nanyang Institute of Management in Singapore, overseeing EduTrust governance, academic operations, and regulatory compliance.

Dr. Hsieh holds a PhD in Sociology from Peking University, a Master of Education from National Taiwan Normal University, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Educational Psychology at NIE/NTU. His research spans psychological well‑being, media literacy, sustainable development, and machine learning applications in education, with publications in SSCI, Scopus, and SCIE‑indexed journals. Across his career, he has demonstrated strong capability in institutional development, programme management, and student‑centred educational innovation.
