Mr. Wilson Wong Kok Hee has been working in the IT industry for more than 35 years. During his 30+ years of IT career, of which almost 25 years are working for Citigroup. Also, he gained a broad spectrum of technical and managerial experiences across multiple industries from IT Outsourcing, Government, Manufacturing to Banking.
And he spent almost the last 25 years working for Citigroup prior to joining ChinaLink in Jun/2016. During his tenure with Citigroup, he held a number of senior positions covering both technology management and operations for the Global Consumer Technology group. Below are some significant milestones accomplished.
- Transformed the first Citibank Deposit system of the Consumer Banking group to a standardized banking platform with substantial business growth and cost effectiveness in 1998.
- Managed and accomplished the first standardized banking platform for Citi APAC Private Banking group with huge cost and time savings in 2001.
- Built from scratch a Mainframe (Cobol) resource pipeline and practice to meet sustainable Mainframe (Cobol) resource demands from 2004 to 2007.
- Managed and provided leadership to a division of 600+ technology resources to implement the Global Consumer Technology strategic global common banking platform for all Citibank operations in AP and Europe.
- Achieved a remarkable US$10 million benchmark of revenue for the Shanghai Technology Solutions department for the years of 2013 and 2014 respectively.
- Successfully setup and built a 300-seats Offsite Development Center in Dalian city to achieve cost effectiveness and mitigate business risks in Jan/2016.
In addition, Wilson has gained a broad variety of technical and managerial experiences ranging from application solutions, implementation and maintenance, project management to operational management including Staffing & Recruitment, Vendor Management, Technical Training and Group Administration/Facility Management.
