OBJECTIVES
The objectives of this Professional Diploma course are:
- To provide targeted training programs focus on essential skill sets required for core banking systems.
- To expose students to COBOL, AS400, Mainframe programming, CICS, DB2, DDS, and RPG programming.
- To enhance students’ abilities and skillsets to better equip them for critical roles in banking technology.

ASSESSMENT METHODS & GRADUATION
Each module will be formally assessed by a mix of exercise, coding, and project work. Students must achieve an overall attendance of 90% (International Student) and 75% (Local Student).

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
For admission to the Professional Diploma in Applied Banking Technology programme:
Minimum Age Requirement: 18 Years Old
Language:
- Minimum IELTS Band 5.5; OR
- Minimum of C6 in GCE "O" Level English or equivalent; OR
- Completed a prior Diploma or equivalent where the medium of instruction is English.
Academic:
- Obtained at least a Grade “E” at GCE “A” Levels in any 2 subjects; OR
- Diploma from recognized local polytechnics / pathway programmes from other PEIs; OR
- Degree from recognized education institutes in any discipline; OR
- International applicants who have equivalent qualifications to the above will be assessed on a case-by-case basis
