Nancy Tandela

Academic and Examination Board Member

Ms. Nancy Tandela has more than 13 years’ experience working as Pastoral Counsellor in Singapore and Indonesia. She has provided personal as well as parenting and family counselling.

She received her Bachelor in Computer Science from the University of Kansas, USA, Postgraduate Diploma In Counselling Psychology from College of Allied Educators, MA in Integrative Counselling with Leeds Beckett University, and Graduate Certificate in Parent Education Leadership from Swinburne University of Technology.

From 2010-2016 Ms. Nancy Tandela joined College of Allied Educators as its Principal. She collaborated with MOE schools, partner institutions in Malaysia and Indonesia to bring CAE’s programs to both countries. She introduced Play Therapy from UK to Singapore and Indonesia. She also successfully helped CAE achieve the 4-year ERF for CAE (2012-2160).

Nancy holds special interest and passion to help women and adult children to acquire healthy emotional lives by overcoming depression and traumas. She has conducted and facilitated talks on life, spiritual and emotional wellness. People often describe her as a great listener, compassionate, and a person of integrity.

She is currently a provisional clinical member of the Singapore Association of Counselling, an academic and examination board member of College of Allied Educators, and a volunteer member of the Hope Worldwide Singapore and various charitable organisations.

She also serves as college counsellor for CAE students.

She enjoys working out in the outdoor: hiking, swimming, and tennis.
